Null & Void Books is a publishing platform devoted to contemporary phenomena in art and culture. The programme focuses on projects developed in close collaboration with artists, writers and designers, where the book becomes a space for artistic and critical reflection.
Rather than functioning as a traditional publishing house, the platform approaches each title as a specific project. Many of the books are produced in relation to exhibitions, artistic research or other cultural contexts, where printed matter forms part of a broader investigation. The publications are distributed through selected bookstores, museums and art book fairs, as well as online.
Null & Void Books was initiated in 2014 and is based in Lund, Sweden. Since its beginning, the platform has explored how printed matter can operate as a medium for documentation, experimentation and the circulation of artistic ideas.
